Newcomers and spectators welcome! Fencing practice is regularly attended by non-fencers who enjoy gentle conversation and a chance to work on their knitting or other handcrafting project.

Fencing practice meets most Mondays.

The Shire of Hartshorn-Dale has an active fencing community that meets weekly.

When: Every Monday, starting at 7:30. Communications (changes or cancellations) will be announced via the Hartshorn-Dale mailing list.

Where: United Church of Christ, 145 Chestnut St., Spring City, PA. 19475

Who to contact for Fencing: The Fencing Marshal, fencing@hartshorn-dale.eastkingdom.org

What to bring: Comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Men should bring a cup. Loaner equipment (both armor and blades) is available. A suggestion $3 donation is requested to help cover the cost of the site.

Youth (defined as between the ages of 6 and 18) are welcome to try their hand at fencing! Youth marshals and youth loaner equipment for youth is generally available, although the Marshals request advance notice. The complete set of rules for youth fencers in the East Kingdom is here.
